 What is Adonis? According to legend, the Adonis plant grew from the blood of Adonis when he was wounded while hunting. It blooms into bright yellow flowers when it matures.
Where does Adonis grow? Adonis flowers can be found in the mountain regions of Korea and Japan. It is also readily available throughout Europe.
Benefits: Traditionally used to treat heart complaints and low blood pressure. It's chemical properties can slow heart rate helping to regulate contractions.
