 What is Chamomile? An herb useful to combat stress and anxiety and to aid digestion and sleep. Applied topically, helps neutralize skin irritants and has soothing, purifying, refreshing and antiseptic properties.
Where does Chamomile grow? Found in much of the United States, locally abundant. Native to Europe and Asia.
Benefits: A pinch of ground ginger added to chamomile tea is a favorite domestic remedy for loss of appetite or distaste for food.
Precautions: Chamomile is a member of the daisy family, and anyone allergic to other members of the daisy family, including ragweed, should steer clear of this herb.
