 What is Kudzu? Kudzu is a vine that attaches itself to trees and can grow up to 100 feet in height. Its long purple fragrant flowers produce nectar for many of the bees and insects that feed on it.
Where does Kudzu grow? Kudzu is a native plant to Southern Japan. After its introduction to the US for erosion control, Kudzu's wild spread and growth under ideal growing conditions earned an unwanted classification of pest weed.
Benefits: Traditionally used to treat hangovers. Studies have shown it can also treat alcoholism in test subjects vs. those taking a placebo.
Precautions: No known side effects of Kudzu.
